Marla Berry

Marla Berry has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Marla started their career at Heinemann Publishing in 1992 as a Web Supervisor and stayed with the company until 2007. Marla then joined Global Relief Technologies as a Software Engineer from September 2007 to September 2008, and later became a Project Manager from September 2008 to April 2011. In 2011, Marla joined the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) as a Certification Manager, a role they held until June 2013. Marla then became the Certification Director from July 2013 to December 2014 before taking on the position of Training Director from January 2015, which is their current role.

Marla Berry attended the University of New Hampshire from 1984 to 1988. There, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics. In addition, they obtained certification as a Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT) from The International Association of Privacy Professionals in November 2020.
