Shannon Magrane

Shannon Magrane has a diverse work experience, starting as a Layout Designer at IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals in 2019. Prior to that, in 2018, they worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer for their own company, Shannon Magrane Design. In 2020, they became the Media and Communications Director for Thu Nguyen's campaign for Worcester City Council At-Large. In this role, they handled website maintenance, newsletters, social media, press releases, media plan, and print literature, while also designing print materials, web pages, and social media content. Shannon previously worked as a Graphic Designer for Lasting Beauty Floral from 2016 to 2020. Other roles they held include Teaching Assistant at SEACOAST CHARTER SCHOOL, Residential Counselor at Chase Home For Children, Program Instructor at EcoTarium, Mental Health Counselor at Family Continuity, Youth After School Program Coordinator at Nauset Together We Can, and School's Out Art Specialist at YMCA.

Shannon Magrane completed their Bachelor's Degree at Clark University from 2010 to 2014. During their time there, they studied a combination of Psychology, Studio Art, and Education. In addition to their formal education, Shannon Magrane also obtained various certifications. In June 2019, they completed the "InDesign CC 2019 Essential Training" and "Storytelling for Designers" courses through LinkedIn. Most recently, in March 2022, they obtained the certification in "Data Visualization: Best Practices", also from LinkedIn.
