Thomas Boney

Tom Boney is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the aluminum industry, currently serving as COO - Americas at IAC Group since May 2023. Prior to this role, Tom Boney held various leadership positions at Novelis from 2006 to 2023, including Executive Vice President and President of Novelis North America, where Boney was responsible for P&L leadership and significantly increased revenue across multiple business segments. Tom Boney also served as Managing Director at Aluminium Company of Malaysia and held several key roles at Novelis that showcased expertise in operations, manufacturing excellence, and strategic growth initiatives. Before joining Novelis, Tom Boney began a career at Alcoa, focusing on sales, marketing, and manufacturing. Boney holds a Master’s degree in Management from Penn State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from St. Bonaventure University.
