Bodo Heiliger

Bodo Heiliger possesses extensive experience in educational leadership, currently serving as Head of School and Head of Elementary at the International School of Portland since July 2016. Simultaneously, Bodo is an Online Workshop Facilitator and PYP Workshop Leader for the International Baccalaureate, contributing to educational excellence since March 2011. Prior experience includes roles as Head of School at the Dolores A. Spear Center for Excellence in Teaching, PYP Coordinator at Munich International School e.V. Schloß Buchhof, and various teaching positions at Alexandria Country Day School and Episcopal High School. Bodo holds a Master of Education in School Leadership from Harvard Graduate School of Education and has participated in the Klingenstein Summer Fellowship for Independent School Leadership at Teachers College, Columbia University. Bodo earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, Human Development/Education, and Social Justice from Colby College.
