Laura P. C. has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple roles and organizations. Laura P. began their career in 2007 as a Corps Member for Teach for America. In 2009, they worked as a 3rd grade Bilingual Teacher for the Lewisville Independent School District and later as a Spanish Immersion Teacher at the Washington International School. In 2011, they joined the International Baccalaureate as an Online Professional Development Specialist and later became the Global Recognition Manager. Laura P. then transitioned to the role of Senior Manager, Strategic Initiatives, and most recently, they held the positions of Head, Insights and Solutions in both the IBWS department and the Schools' Office.
Laura P. C. obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies, German, and French from the University of South Carolina in 2006. In 2005, they also studied French and International Studies at Sciences Po. In 2006, they attended Universidad de Palermo for International Studies. Laura pursued an Alternative Teaching Certification at the University of St. Thomas (TX) from 2008 to 2009. Lastly, they earned a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Education Policy and Leadership from American University in 2014.
