Martine Riou

Martine Riou is a seasoned educator and administrator with extensive experience in educational management and program development. Currently serving as Directrice adjointe des études et des affaires étudiantes at Cégep de Rivière-du-Loup since May 2020, Martine oversees the management and development of pre-university programs and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. Since January 2016, Martine has also been active in the Baccalauréat International as an educator, school visit team member, and workshop leader, contributing to professional development and curriculum review within IB schools. Prior roles include Directrice générale and Directrice Adjointe at École Montessori de l'Outaouais, teaching Science and Technology at Collège Jean De Brébeuf, and coordinating the Middle Years Programme at International School Eindhoven. Martine holds a Maîtrise in Administration et politiques de l’éducation from Université Laval, along with specialized diplomas and degrees in educational management and secondary education in sciences and technology.
