Vicki Close

Vicki Close has extensive experience in theatre education and management, currently serving as the Engagement & Programming Manager at the International Schools Theatre Association (ISTA) since September 2017, where roles have included Festival Rep/Artist, Engagement Manager, and Engagement Coordinator. In addition, Vicki Close has held multiple positions with the International Baccalaureate since April 2010, including Principal Examiner and Senior Examiner/Team Leader for IB DP Theatre. Previous roles include Theatre Teacher and Director at Prague Youth Theatre, IB Theatre/Upper School Drama Teacher and Theatre Supervisor at the International School of Prague, and Director of Performing Arts at International School Manila, among others. Vicki Close's educational credentials include a Master’s in International Education from the University at Buffalo, a Bachelor of Education in English and Drama from the University of Ottawa, and a Bachelor of Arts in Specialised Drama from the University of Guelph.
