Emily Foale is a Project Manager at the International Bar Association, specializing as the Secretariat to the High-Level Panel of Legal Experts on Media Freedom and serving as the Human Rights Institute Programme Coordinator since January 2020. Prior to this role, Emily worked as a Consultant and Intern at the Business & Human Rights Resource Centre and as a Junior Consultant at Ardea International, where a significant research project on modern slavery legislation in the jewellery sector resulted in a published report. Additional experience includes a Vacation Scheme at Bevan Brittan LLP and an internship at Hickman & Rose. Emily holds a Master of Science in International Human Rights Law from the University of Oxford, an LLM Qualifying Law Degree from Birkbeck, University of London, and a Bachelor's degree in History and English from the University of York.
