Robin Buck is an experienced mental health professional with a diverse career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Registered Play Therapist and Business Owner at The Growing Place Youth Counseling since 2019, Robin specializes in Play Therapy and Social Emotional Learning for children aged 3-12. In addition, Robin holds the position of Licensed Mental Health Counselor with the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services and is a Certified Autism Specialist with the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES). Robin's extensive experience also includes roles as a School Counselor within the Richland School District since 2002 and previous positions in utilization management and mental health counseling. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in Counseling Psychology from Heritage University and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from Washington State University.

IBCCES provides evidence-based training and certification programs created in conjunction with its board of clinical and subject matter experts and autistic individuals to provide professionals with a better understanding of autism and other neurodivergencies. EDUCATION 1 in 44 children are diagnosed with autism and 1 in 11 are diagnosed with ADHD. This rapidly growing population dramatically increases the challenges for educators. Our training and certifications ensure teachers are armed with the knowledge and best practices to improve learning outcomes.
