Cecilia Finoli is an experienced clinical nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with a strong focus on perinatal care. Currently, Cecilia has been working at CIUSSS de l'Ouest-de-l'Île-de-Montréal since 2012, and also as a Nurse Clinician for CSSS Cavendish, providing specialized support during the postpartum period. In addition to nursing, Cecilia served as an instructor for the Heart and Stroke Foundation, teaching CPR and First Aid, and co-owned La Crème de la Prem, a business supporting families with young children. Past roles include research assistance at the SMBD Jewish General Hospital in perinatal mental health and clinical work in the NICU. Cecilia holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Université de Montréal.

What is IBLCE®? IBLCE offers the premier credential in lactation and breastfeeding worldwide. Truly an international certification, there are currently over 28,000 certificants in 105 countries. What is an IBCLC? IBLCE certificants provide lactation and breastfeeding support to mothers and families. They function and contribute as members of the maternal-child health team. They provide care in a variety of settings, while making appropriate referrals to other health professionals and community support resources. Working together with mothers, families, policymakers and society, IBLCE provide expert breastfeeding and lactation care.
