Carrie Cohen

Carrie Cohen is an experienced healthcare professional with a focus on lactation and education. Currently serving as an IBCLC at Legacy Health since December 2015 and as an on-call IBCLC, Carrie also holds a position as an instructor in University Studies and School for Community Health at Portland State University since September 2010. As a certified labor doula and lactation consultant through Portland Doula Collective since October 2008, Carrie has a strong foundation in childbirth and lactation education. Previous roles include Lactation Program Director at OHSU-PSU School of Public Health and Lactation and Childbirth Educator at Providence Health & Services. With a solid teaching background, Carrie has also taught science at the Vancouver School District. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Science Education from Portland State University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Pacific University.
