Natia Shamugia

Natia Shamugia is a seasoned professional in the field of tax consulting and economic governance, currently serving as a Local Consultant for the USAID Economic Governance Program, aiding the Georgian Revenue Service in the development of its 2025-2030 strategy. With a strong background at leading organizations such as IBFD as an Author and News Correspondent for Georgia, and Ecovis Georgia as a Senior Tax Manager, Natia has accumulated extensive experience since 2015. Previous roles include positions at PMCG supporting tax system administration and legislative amendments, as well as expert consultancy for the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health. Natia's expertise is grounded in a Master’s degree in Economics from the International School of Economics at Tbilisi State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
