Andy Hill

Andy Hill is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in trading and regulatory policy. Currently serving as Managing Director and Co-Head of the Market Practice and Regulatory Policy team at the International Capital Market Association (ICMA) since January 2014, Andy oversees international efforts related to Secondary Markets and Repo & Collateral Markets. Prior experience includes roles as an NGO Consultant in the Aid & Development Sector from May 2010 to March 2013, and as an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs for a decade, where responsibilities involved trading European Government and Corporate Bond Repo. Additional roles span major financial institutions such as Paribas and Industrial Bank of Japan. Andy holds a BSc (Hons) in Business Studies from Bayes Business School, an MSc in Poverty Reduction and Development Management from the University of Birmingham, and completed the Applied Data Science Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in mid-2023.
