Flip Tonkens

Flip Tonkens is the Head of Digital Channels & Core Payments at International Card Services, focusing on app, web, and API development related to payments, lending, and open banking since June 2022. Previously at ING from February 2016 to May 2022, Flip held key positions including Embedded Finance Strategy Lead and Product Owner for the Heist, emphasizing innovation strategy and compliance with PSD2. Flip's experience also spans senior roles at ABN AMRO Bank, where responsibilities included digital business development, and significant leadership positions at agencies such as Pool Worldwide. With a Master's degree in Dutch law from the University of Amsterdam, Flip has a diverse background in management, problem-solving, and project oversight across various sectors.
