Rim El Gantri

Head Of Libya Program at International Center for Transitional Justice

Rim El Gantri has a diverse work experience in the field of human rights and transitional justice. Rim is currently the Head of the Libya Program at the International Center for Transitional Justice since March 2019. Prior to that, they worked as an Expert Consultant in Human Rights and Transitional Justice at RG - Consulting starting from May 2017. From October 2017 to December 2018, they served as the Director of the Gender Program at Impunity Watch. Rim also has previous experience at the International Center for Transitional Justice, where they worked as a Consultant from January to April 2017, and as the Head of Office in Tunisia from October 2013 to March 2016. Rim also held the position of Program Associate at the same organization from December 2011 to September 2013. Rim's earlier experience includes working as an Associé de programme at IFES from August to December 2011, and as the Deputy Coordinator for the senior volunteers program at the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) from June 2008 to July 2011.

Rim El Gantri holds a Mastère en droit public interne from the Faculté de Droit et de Sciences Politiques de Tunis. In 2013, they completed a course in Monitoring and Evaluation in the NGO sector at HREA. In 2019, they participated in the Investigation of Conflict-Related Sexual and Gender Based Violence (SGBV) Course at the Institute for International Criminal Investigations (IICI).
