Josie Miner has a strong background in photography and instruction. Josie started their career as a freelance photographer in 2003 and has since worked with various clients. In 2008, they joined the International Center of Photography as a Lead Instructor and continued in this role until 2010 when they joined the Harlem School of the Arts as a Lead Instructor. Josie is currently still employed at the Harlem School of the Arts.
Josie Miner's education history began in 1996 when they enrolled at Reed College. Josie pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History and completed their studies in 2000. Following this, in 2002, Josie attended the International Center of Photography, where they earned a Certificate in Photography. Thus, their educational background consists of a BA in Art History from Reed College and a Certificate in Photography from the International Center of Photography.
