Martin Hurt is a Research Fellow at the International Centre for Defence and Security. Prior to this, Martin served as Defence Counsellor at the Ministry of Defence of Estonia and was a Member of the Executive Board at the same institution. Martin also has experience working at the General Staff of the Estonian Defence Forces and the Headquarters of the Swedish Armed Forces. Martin holds a Master of Arts in Social Sciences - International Business Administration from Estonian Business School.
