Gerard Hartsink

Gerard Hartsink is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in international trade, digital economy, and payments strategy. Currently serving as Chair Emeritus of the ICC DSI Industry Advisory Board and Senior Advisor for ICC Netherlands and ICC HQ Paris, Hartsink focuses on standardizing international trade through collaborative initiatives. As Editor of the Journal of Payment Strategy and Systems, Hartsink contributes to the discourse on payment strategies within the industry. Additionally, Hartsink holds the position of Convenor of Advisory Group 5 for Digital Currencies at ISO TC 68, working on international standards for CBDCs and non-fiat currencies.
