Terence Zhang

Terence Zhang is a software engineer at the International Child Art Foundation since September 2020, previously serving as a teaching assistant and graduate student researcher at the University of California, Riverside from September 2016 to September 2020. In the teaching assistant role, Terence prepared materials and graded assessments for 80 students, while the graduate research focused on rapid nucleic acid extraction from plants using advanced techniques. Terence has also held positions as a representative of the Mechanical Engineering Graduate Student Association and a committee member of the Diversity and Inclusion Academic Liaison. The engineering background includes internships at Yuchai Machinery Co. Ltd. and research work at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, where Terence developed technologies related to 3D printing. Terence holds a PhD and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Riverside, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Materials Processing and Control Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
