Dr. Gary Peterson

Gary Peterson, Ph.D., M.Sc., FP-C, NRP, is an accomplished emergency management professional with extensive experience in EMS education, clinical practice, and strategic planning. As the Founder and Executive Director of White Blaze Emergency Management since 2018, Gary has advised on over 100 complex emergencies and developed risk mitigation strategies for various disasters. Serving as a Director for the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians and in multiple educational roles, Gary has coordinated training across numerous centers and mentored many professionals in emergency services. With over 20 years of experience in content delivery and leadership roles in various EMS organizations, along with advanced degrees in Health Sciences and Emergency Services Management, Gary remains dedicated to improving emergency response and education across the sector.
