Alexander Hug

Alexander Hug, a Swiss national, is an expert on conflict resolution and security issues. He joined ICMP as Head of Mission (ad int.) of the Iraq Program in September 2020. Until the end of 2018, Hug was the Principal Deputy Chief Monitor of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE)’s Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine, a role he held since the inception of the Mission in early 2014.
