Ashraf Khalil has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Ashraf started their career in 1994 as a Customer Support Engineer at IST and then worked as a Shift Engineer at Alexandria Container Handling Company in 1995-1996. Ashraf then joined Pirelli Tires Alexandria as a Maintenance Engineer from 1996 to 2000, where they were responsible for the installation and startup of production lines. At Mansour Group, from 2000 to 2004, they worked as an Electrical and Automation Supervisor Engineer, handling installation and maintenance tasks. From 2004 to 2010, they served as the Engineering Projects Manager at SCCT "Suez Canal Containers Terminal," managing major engineering projects and overseeing a team of engineers and technicians. At Petromaint, they held the role of Project Manager from 2010 to 2014, where they set up and managed a maintenance team for a billion-dollar project. Ashraf then joined International Container Terminal Services, Inc. in 2014 as the Head of Engineering Department, responsible for building and managing engineering teams, overseeing equipment availability, and budgeting.

Ashraf Khalil completed their education as follows:

- From 1989 to 1994, they attended Alexandria University and earned a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, specializing in the communication section.

- In 2007, they enrolled at A.P.Moller Group and completed a Technical Magnum degree in Management for Technical Managers, graduating in 2009.

- During the same period in 2007 and 2008, they also attended the Microsoft Certified Center, where they obtained an MCSA degree in Computer Networking.

- Additionally, they obtained a certification in Technical Magnum from APM Terminals in 2009.
