Shelton Houston

Shelton Houston has extensive experience in the field of engineering and technology education, currently serving as a Professor and Head of the Department of Engineering Technology at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette since July 2007. Prior to this role, Shelton Houston worked at the University of Southern Mississippi School of Computing for 27 years, holding various academic positions including Professor of Information Technology and Interim Director. Shelton Houston holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education from the University of Mississippi, a Master's degree in Industrial Education from The University of Southern Mississippi, and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics, along with an Associate's degree in Electronics from Jones County Junior College.
