Katharine Turvey

Katharine Turvey is currently the Head of Capacity Building - Museums & Society at the International Council of Museums. Prior to this role, Katharine served as the Museums & Society Coordinator at the same organization. With a background in communications, program management, and information services, Katharine has worked at organizations such as UNESCO, Canadian Commission for UNESCO, and Parks Canada. Katharine holds a Master's Degree in History of Art and Visual Culture from the University of Oxford, a Graduate Diploma in Indigenous Policy and Administration from Carleton University, and a Bachelor's Degree in History and History of Art from the University of Ottawa.
