Sophie Delepierre

Sophie Delepierre is a seasoned professional in heritage protection and capacity building, currently serving as the Head of the Protection Heritage and Capacity Building Department at ICOM - International Council of Museums since February 2017. Previous roles include Legal Advisor and Institutional Affairs Coordinator at the same organization and a Temporary Lecturer at University Jean Moulin Lyon 3. Between 2010 and 2015, Sophie held positions as Associate Expert and Assistant Programme Specialist at UNESCO, focusing on the 1970 Convention regarding the illicit trade of cultural property.
