Mael Daniel currently serves as an Associate Administrative and HR Officer and as the Ad Interim Head of the Administrative and Personnel Division at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) since February 2021. Prior experience includes roles such as Associate Legal Officer at the Special Tribunal for Lebanon and various positions at the ICJ, including Ad Interim Head of the Administrative and Personnel Division and Assistant. Mael Daniel's legal career also includes work as a lawyer at the European Patent Office, providing legal advice in employment law, and significant contributions in legal research and documentation at the ICJ and UNHCR. Mael Daniel holds multiple degrees in international law and administration from prestigious institutions, including a Master’s from Paris-Pantheon-Assas University and a Diploma from Sciences Po Rennes.
