Maria Pia Norbis is a highly experienced investigator specializing in international oversight and governance. Currently serving as a Senior Investigator at the International Criminal Court since December 2020, Maria Pia has previously held investigator roles at the Food and Agriculture Organization from February 2016 to November 2020 and at the Organization of American States from March 2014 to February 2016. Additional experience includes serving as an Investigations Consultant at FAO, a Field Supervisor at the University of Oxford, and an Investigations Research Fellow at the Inter-American Development Bank. Maria Pia holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Georgetown University Law Center, a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, a Master of Arts in International Relations from Johns Hopkins SAIS, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from New York University.
