Nidal Nabil Jurdi, Ph D, holds extensive experience in international human rights and law, currently serving as an International Cooperation Advisor at the International Criminal Court since January 2024. Prior roles include Deputy Representative at United Nations Human Rights, Senior Human Rights Officer/Coordinator for Libya at the United Nations, and various positions at the Special Tribunal for Lebanon and United Nations Human Rights. Nidal has also contributed to academia as a lecturer at McGill University and as faculty at the American University of Beirut. Nidal's educational background includes a Ph D in International Criminal Law and Human Rights from University College Cork, an LLM in Human Rights Law, and degrees in International Relations and Political Studies from the American University of Beirut.
