Isabelle Arradon

Director Of Research at International Crisis Group

Isabelle Arradon is a seasoned leader in conflict prevention and gender issues, currently serving as the Director of Research at the International Crisis Group since August 2014. In this role, Isabelle oversees the CrisisWatch monthly conflict tracker, which monitors developments in over 70 countries to aid decision-makers in preventing violence. From 2016 to 2019, Isabelle initiated the organization’s gender workstream and participated in NATO's Civil Society Advisory Panel on Women, Peace and Security. Previous positions include Director of Research and Deputy Chief Policy Officer at Amnesty International, where Isabelle held various research and policy roles from 2004 to 2014, and in-country volunteer for the Indonesia Project with Peace Brigades International. Isabelle holds a Master of Arts in International Law and Politics from the University of Hull and a diploma in Political Science and Public Law from Sciences Po Bordeaux.
