Ana de Oliveira

Ana de Oliveira is an experienced operations lead currently at the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) since July 2022, overseeing the Democratic and Inclusive Governance program with significant budget management and strategic coordination responsibilities. Prior roles include Policy and Research Officer at Cooperation Canada, where Ana focused on equity and inclusivity in civic spaces, and various positions at SESI Paraná and universities, emphasizing social development, educational initiatives, and cultural projects. Ana holds a PhD in Social History from the Universidade de São Paulo and has an extensive background in research, policy development, and academic instruction, complemented by a strong commitment to promoting sustainable development and civil society engagement.
