Brian Bursey

Brian Bursey, CPA, serves as the Director of Compliance at International Education Corporation since April 2015, where responsibilities include developing and implementing compliance programs related to Title IX and the Clery Act. Prior to this role, Brian held the position of Compliance Manager at Corinthian Colleges, Inc. since August 2013, focusing on proactive monitoring of compliance issues and collaborating with legal and subject matter experts. From 2003 to 2013, Brian was the Internal Audit Manager at Corinthian Colleges, overseeing audit teams and conducting compliance and operational audits, including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Earlier experience includes serving as Internal Auditing Supervisor at M.F. Salta, conducting financial audits and preparing tax returns, along with positions as Sr. Accountant at Boyd Wheels and Staff Accountant at WNG International. Brian holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Business Management from California State University, Fullerton.
