Joe Cockrell

Joe Cockrell serves as the Director of Communications and Media Relations at International Education Corporation since June 2020, overseeing all communications and acting as the spokesperson for the organization and its network of schools. Prior to this role, Joe held positions such as Executive Director of Communications and Media Relations at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, where responsibilities included serving as the university spokesperson across five U.S. campuses. Joe's consulting experience as an Expert Consultant and Freelance Video Producer involved providing services to a diverse clientele, including Fortune 500 companies and non-profits. With earlier roles including Vice Chancellor of Communications at Brandman University and Director of Public Relations at various institutions, Joe possesses extensive experience in strategic communications. Joe Cockrell is currently pursuing a Juris Doctor (JD) at the John F. Kennedy School of Law, holding a Master of Arts in Strategic Communications from National University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Performing Arts from Simpson College.
