Svea Nyberg

Svea Nyberg is an experienced professional in the fields of public affairs and legal advisory, currently serving as an EU Policy Officer at the International Emissions Trading Association since May 2023. Previously, Svea held roles as a Junior Public Affairs Officer and Public Affairs Trainee at TIC Council from June 2022 to May 2023. Earlier experience includes serving as a Legal Advisor at Amsterdam Law Clinics and a Legal Trainee at Central England Law Centre's Refugee Clinic. Additional internships at Seawater Solutions, the U.S. Embassy in Bangkok, Thailand, USAID, and Chandler and Thong-Ek Law Offices have further enriched Svea's expertise. Svea holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in EU Law from the University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Warwick - School of Law.
