Dr ing. Agata Malak-Rawlikowska works as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agricultural Economics at the Faculty of Economic Sciences, Warsaw University of Life Sciences – SGGW, Poland. SGGW is the largest Polish agricultural university with a complex of academic experience and research activities.
Her main scientific interests are focused on primary agricultural production (mainly animal sectors) and concern agricultural and farm economics and management, vertical integration in the food supply chain, agricultural policy and its impact on production, and farm development paths.
She has experience in 16 international projects both as a core-team member and as a coordinator (some examples are: Strength2Food, SusPigSys, EUPig, ECONWELFARE, CLAIM, COMPETE, RegoverningMarkets, and others). She was also involved in the EU evaluation studies of European dairy policy (EU Commission Contract) and evaluation of EU animal welfare, environmental and food safety norms in the pig sector. She coordinated two projects focused on the implementation of the Interactive Strategic Management methodology and training in Central and Eastern European Countries – Poland, Slovenia, Lithuania, and Austria. She has broad experience in training farmers in strategic management and farm economics.
