Paul Haskell-Dowland is an esteemed academic and professional in the field of Cyber Security, currently serving as a Professor of Cyber Security Practice and Associate Dean for Computing and Security at Edith Cowan University since October 2016. Haskell-Dowland holds the position of Chair and Working Group Coordinator for the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP) Technical Committee 11, focusing on Security and Privacy Protection in Information Processing Systems since August 2004. Paul's previous roles include Associate Head (Computing) at the University of Plymouth and various positions within the BCS South West Branch. Haskell-Dowland earned a PhD in Computer and Information Systems Security from the University of Plymouth, where Paul also obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Computing and Informatics.
