Carmen Koo

Carmen Koo has extensive experience in advocacy, administration, and project coordination within various sectors. Currently, Carmen serves as a Senior Officer for the Advocacy and Grants Programme with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), focusing on the Road Safety Grants Programme across Ghana, Kenya, and Uganda since January 2019. Previously, Carmen held multiple roles at Kechara House from March 2011 to December 2018, including Senior Officer for Road Safety Programme Coordination and Board of Directors, where responsibilities encompassed project coordination, government liaison, and event management. Additionally, Carmen has worked in product development at COFFEX COFFEE MALAYSIA and as a leasing consultant at MICM Real Estate, having begun the career as an administrative assistant at Yuen & Co Advocates & Solicitors. Carmen holds a Bachelor's degree in Food Science from the University of Melbourne and a foundation degree from Trinity College at the same university.
