Ignacio Arroyo Mayo

Ignacio Arroyo Mayo is an accomplished humanitarian professional with extensive experience in information management and operational coordination within crisis contexts. Currently serving as the Information Management Coordinator at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) since October 2023, Ignacio oversees data-related activities to enhance decision-making in humanitarian responses. Previously, as Deputy Director for Operations at the International Rescue Committee, Ignacio established operational frameworks in Ukraine amidst the conflict and opened multiple operational bases. Ignacio's expertise includes leading humanitarian assessments, implementing safeguarding policies at the World Bank, and coordinating humanitarian programs across various organizations, including CARE and Action Against Hunger. Ignacio holds a master's degree in Humanitarian Affairs and a bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government.
