Roba Bashir

Roba Bashir is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Finance Administration Coordinator at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) since March 2023. Prior to this role, Roba held the position of Finance Delegate at the Danish Red Cross from May 2022 to February 2023, and served as the Director of Finance at IMC Worldwide from July 2015 to November 2019. Roba’s extensive background with IFRC spans multiple roles since 2003, including Finance & Grants Coordinator, Grants Manager, and Finance & Administration Delegate, demonstrating a strong track record in financial management, budget preparation, compliance, and oversight of financial activities across various humanitarian programs. Roba holds a Master of Arts in Humanitarian and Development Practice from Oxford Brookes University and a bachelor's degree in accounting from Al Ahliyya Amman University.
