Ruben Cano Revillas

Ruben Cano Revillas serves as the Regional Operations Manager for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) since April 2016, providing strategic direction for operations in Ukraine and surrounding countries. Previous roles include Head of Delegation in Turkey, Head of Country Cluster for West Coast Africa, and Head of Country Office in Greece, where Ruben managed significant humanitarian operations and enhanced National Society capacities. Earlier experience includes positions within the Spanish Red Cross, where Ruben led humanitarian efforts in Asia, the Middle East, and established the Tsunami Unit. Educational qualifications encompass multiple master's degrees in program evaluation, digital business management, leadership, and international marketing from prestigious institutions.
