Zarc Okere

Zarc Okere is a seasoned professional in the field of cybersecurity and information technology, currently serving as a Non-Profit Cyber Security Specialist for East Africa at the CyberPeace Institute and as a Senior Information Technology Security Officer with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. With over a decade of experience, Zarc has a proven track record of mentoring partners in incident response and fostering cybersecurity communities. Zarc has also held leadership roles, including Cyber Security Project Coordinator at NetHope, and has consulted on digital transformation for the South Sudan Red Cross. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Information Technology Project Management from the University of Nairobi, a Master of Science in Computer Systems from Jomo Kenyatta University, and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from KCA University, along with a CCNA Security certification from the Cisco Networking Academy.
