Tim Boland

Tim Boland has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Tim began their career as a Program Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Houghton College in 2004. Tim then worked as an Admission Counselor, representing the college to potential students across multiple states.

In 2009, Tim joined Regent College, where they held multiple roles including Development/Alumni TA, Digital Marketing Coordinator, and Development Data Coordinator. Tim was responsible for maintaining donor and alumni records, strengthening college social media presences, and contributing to fundraising strategies.

In 2013, Tim became Acting Manager of Donor Relations at Regent College, where they supervised a team of five employees, advised the Director of Donor Relations and College President on fundraising strategies, and exceeded revenue targets during major institutional changes. Tim also held the role of Digital Marketing Program Lead, managing a weekly email sales program and maintaining an e-commerce website.

From 2016 to 2020, Tim worked as a self-employed Digital Marketing and Website Performance Consultant, helping small businesses improve their website performance and achieve their strategic goals.

In 2017, Tim joined the University of Oxford as a Transplant Research Project Manager, where they supported the Principal Investigator in managing research projects. Tim successfully concluded a multi-million euro project with multiple partners across six countries.

Most recently, in 2020, Tim became the Head of Communications at the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students.

Throughout their career, Tim has demonstrated strong leadership, project management, and digital marketing skills.

Tim Boland obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Religion and Intercultural Studies from Houghton University in the period of 2001 to 2005. Later, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Theological Studies (Old Testament) from Regent College between 2009 and 2012. Additionally, they obtained certifications such as Growth-Driven Design and HubSpot Sales Software from HubSpot in 2017 and 2016 respectively. In 2013, Tim Boland also received an Occupational First Aid Level One certification from Worksafe BC.
