Kenny Angove

Kenny Angove is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in the energy sector and media. Currently serving as Head of Communications at SSE Thermal since July 2025, Kenny previously held the position of Senior Communications Manager and Senior Manager of Renewables’ Corporate Affairs at SSE Renewables, focusing on stakeholder engagement and public affairs from July 2023 to July 2025. Kenny's background includes significant roles at SSE plc from March 2019 to October 2023, encompassing Senior Media Manager and Interim Head of Group Media and Digital. Prior experience includes leadership positions at tigerbond and extensive reporting experience at News UK, including overseas assignments and coverage of high-profile events. Kenny holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Media Studies and a Master of Arts in Media and Cultural Studies from the University of Sunderland.
