Mia Kyed Jakobsen

Mia Kyed Jakobsen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in regulatory and research roles across various prestigious organizations. Currently serving as a Regulatory Associate Manager in R&D at IFF since June 2023, Mia previously held positions such as Sr. Regulatory Specialist at Chr. Hansen and Regulatory Scientist focused on strain approval support at Novozymes. Mia's early career includes leadership as Head of Section at the Ministry of Higher Education and Science in Denmark and as an Academic Officer at the University of Copenhagen. With a robust academic background, including a Ph.D. in Plant Molecular Biology from Københavns Universitet and postdoctoral research at UC Berkeley with Nobel Laureate Randy Schekman, Mia has contributed significantly to research in protein trafficking and gene expression.
