Brenda Mulele Gunde is an accomplished professional specializing in Information and Communication Technology for Development (ICT4D) with extensive experience in leading digital transformation initiatives in agriculture and various non-profit sectors. Currently serving as the Global Lead of ICT4D at the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) since June 2021, Brenda focuses on enabling small producers to access digital services for enhanced livelihoods. Previously, as the Chief of ICT at UNICEF and Director of ICT for Eastern and Southern Africa at SOS Children's Villages International, Brenda demonstrated strong leadership in aligning ICT strategies with organizational goals. With a solid foundation in Information Technology management established through roles at World Vision and ActionAid, Brenda holds an MSc in Sustainable Development from the University of London and an MBA in Information Technology Management from the University of Leicester.
