Conor O'Loughlin

Conor O'Loughlin is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in advocacy, media, and humanitarian communications. Currently serving as a Senior Communications Specialist at the International Fund for Agricultural Development since February 2024, Conor previously held key positions at the United Nations from February 2019 to February 2024, including Head of Advocacy & Outreach and Head of Campaigns & Digital. Prior roles include Director of Communications at Crisis Action and Global Media Manager at Save the Children International, where Conor led media responses to critical crises. Conor's career also includes significant experience as a freelance journalist and various production roles in broadcasting, with a strong academic background in Political Communication from the University of Amsterdam and a BA in Communication Studies from Dublin City University.
