Lorna Grace

Lorna Grace is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in agriculture and rural finance, currently serving as the Lead Regional Technical Specialist for Rural Finance, Markets, and Value Chains at the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) since October 2021. Prior to IFAD, Lorna was a Principal at Small Finance Big Change from October 2010, specializing in independent consulting for smallholder financing and SMEs. Relevant prior roles include serving as Director at MCA-H/ACA, where over 5000 horticulture producers gained access to finance, and Senior Finance Specialist at Fintrac, focusing on cash flow models and financial education for agriculture households. Lorna’s career also includes various consulting positions across multiple organizations, with notable expertise in proposal development, value chain finance assessments, and training. Lorna holds an AB in Government from Harvard University and an MBA in Finance from the University of Alberta.
