Pedro De Vasconcelos is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in migration, remittances, and inclusive finance. Since February 2007, Pedro has served as Fund Manager and Lead Advisor at the United Nations - International Fund for Agricultural Development, overseeing a €30 million fund dedicated to promoting remittances and development. Prior to this role, Pedro worked at the Inter American Development Bank from February 2000 to January 2007, where responsibilities included launching an IT and SMEs cluster program and coordinating the remittance program at MIF/IDB. Earlier experience includes a part-time position at UNCTAD as a Programme Specialist, contributing to the 'Micro-Banks' project aimed at supporting microfinance institutions in Latin America. Pedro holds a DESS in Management and International Business from Université Paris-Sorbonne.
