Justin Baker is a highly experienced professional in the field of forest resource economics, currently serving as the Director of the Southern Forest Resource Assessment Consortium and as an Associate Professor at North Carolina State University since January 2019. Additionally, Baker holds the position of Guest Researcher at the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) since July 2018. Previous roles include serving as a Duke-RTI Scholar at Duke University for the 2019-2020 period, and as a Senior Economist at RTI International from October 2011 to October 2020. Earlier in the career, Baker worked as a Research Associate at Duke University. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University, along with multiple master's degrees from Texas Tech University in Applied Economics and Agricultural and Applied Economics, as well as a Bachelor of Science in International Economics from the same institution.
