Magnus Whitehead

VP Global Alliances for America at International Institute of Marketing Professionals

Magnus Whitehead is the current VP Global Alliances for America at the International Institute of Marketing Professionals. Magnus has a long and successful history in marketing and sales, starting with their position as marketing manager at Atlantis Submarines from 1993 to 1996. In 1997 they became the chief executive officer of the National Conservation Commission and held that position until 1998. From 2000 to 2002 they were the head of sales at Cable & Wireless. In 2003 they joined AT&T as general manager and held that position until 2005. In 2007 they became joint chief executive officer of the Barbados Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Barbados Manufacturers' Association, a position they held until 2009. From 2009 to 2011 they served as chief executive officer of the Barbados Investment and Development Corporation.

Magnus Whitehead has a Bachelor of Science from the University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Birmingham.

Magnus Whitehead reports to Ron Coughlin, Chair, Global Alliances. They work with Claudia Cacia - VP Global Alliances for Europe, Ntongwe Enongene - VP Global Alliances for Africa, and Hasan Hasanuzzoha - VP Global Alliances Committee.
