Maggie Conerly

Maggie Conerly is a skilled legal professional with a diverse background in various legal roles. Currently serving as Legal Counsel and Data Privacy and Governance at International Justice Mission since January 2020, Maggie oversees global insurance renewals and develops resources for Board of Directors meetings. Prior experience includes providing pro bono legal aid to asylum seekers at Restoration Immigration Legal Aid, assisting in the development of global governance standards as a Legal Extern, and holding clerk positions at law offices where research on significant legal issues was conducted. Maggie's education includes a Master of Laws in International Human Rights from American University Washington College of Law, a Doctor of Law from Mercer University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy and English from the University of Mississippi.
